About Rainforest Awakenings

Rainforest Awakenings is an international organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the tropical forest in Panama, empowering and educating youth and adults in leadership, and supporting indigenous tribes as well as Panamanian culture.

Our exciting programs offer jungle adventures, snorkeling, trips to indigenous villages, sacred waterfalls, and many opportunities to see wildlife. 

We connect people to the rainforest and each other through meditation, trust building initiatives, and the practice of council.  Communication, leadership, visioning solutions, creating lasting friendships and community, and taking action are all a part of the experience with Rainforest Awakenings. 

Rainforest Awakenings provides volunteer opportunities after each program and encourages participants to create projects that support rainforest preservation.
